How to Whitelist Scam Defense for Yahoo Mail

On the Web

Add us as a contact first!
Go to Yahoo Mail and sign in.
Click the Contacts icon → Add a new contact
Enter hello@scamdefenseusa.com → Save

Then, create a persistent filter:
⚙ Settings → More Settings → Filters → Add new filters

Filter name: “Scam Defense”
From: hello@scamdefenseusa.com
Move to folder: Inbox → Click Save

On the App

Currently, Yahoo Mail does not allow you to whitelist contacts from the mobile app or mobile website.

We HIGHLY recommend you follow these steps from a computer ASAP.

If you can’t, follow these instructions when our email is in your spam inbox:

Open the Yahoo Mail app → tap the ≡ menu → Spam
Select a Scam Defense email → tap Move → Inbox

If you are unable to whitelist Scam Defense from your Yahoo Mail desktop website, please let us know.
