How to Whitelist Scam Defense for Gmail

On the Web

Add us as a contact first!
Go to Google Contacts → Create contact →
Enter hello@scamdefenseusa.com → Save

Then:

Go to Gmail Settings → See all settings → Filters and blocked addresses
Click Create a new filter
In the From field, enter: hello@scamdefenseusa.com
Click Create filter, check Never send it to Spam, then click Create filter again

On the App

Currently, Gmail does not allow you to whitelist contacts from the mobile app or mobile website.
We HIGHLY recommend you follow the desktop steps ASAP.

If you can’t, follow these steps when you find our email in your spam inbox:

Open the Gmail app and go to the Spam folder
Tap your message → menu (⋮) → Report not spam
This moves it to the Inbox and helps train Gmail
