How to Whitelist Scam Defense for iCloud Mail

VIP Tip

In Mail on macOS or iOS, open our message, click the senderʼs name, then Add to VIPs.
VIP mail always lands in your Inbox.

On the Web

Go to icloud.com/mail and sign in.
Click the ⚙ Settings button at the top of the Mailboxes list → Rules → Add

For Description, enter: “Scam Defense”
Under "If a message", choose is from and type: hello@scamdefenseusa.com
Under "Then", choose Move to folder → Inbox
Click Add

On the App

Currently, iCloud does not allow you to whitelist contacts from the mobile app or mobile website.
We HIGHLY recommend you follow the desktop steps ASAP.

If you can’t, follow these instructions when our email is in your spam inbox:

macOS Mail: open Junk → select the message → click Not Junk
iOS Mail: open Mail app → go to Junk → swipe left on the message → tap More → Move to Inbox
